Ryan and Gabby were married in 2011 and shortly after got involved with The Navigators at Oklahoma State University. Through The Navigators they learned practical tools that enabled them to relate to God and help people know Him. Ryan went on EDGE Corps staff at OSU in 2013 while Gabby worked as a manager of a non-profit coffee house. During this time working with international students at OSU, God gave them the desire to move overseas and eventually led them to move to Colombia with the promise of Genesis 46:3: “Do not be afraid to go down to Egypt, for there I will make you into a great nation.” Currently, Ryan is finishing his master’s degree in Teaching English as a Second Language, and they plan to leave for Colombia in August.
